The creation of a functional office space for a new company creating online video games. The location, a loft at the top floor of a Noho cast iron building, had a lot of natural light, coming from a skylight in the center. Warm colors and textures contrast with the abstract nature of the business.
In an area dedicated to video game testing: five Moroso chairs upholstered with custom Paul Smith fabric for the testers face a flat screen TV mounted in front of a draped wall (for sound attenuation). The curtain can be pulled aside revealing a chalkboard wall that is used for notes and diagrams during the testing meetings.
