Position: Architect 1

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed specifications, drawings and architectural design plans for high-end residences, retail stores and hospitality projects including high-end hotels and restaurants in conformity with project requirements.

• Under direct supervision of licensed architect:

  • Prepare estimates and architectural plans.

  • Perform design computations and data compilations.

  • Analyze design and construction systems, design layouts and construction features.

  • Conduct periodic site and construction inspections to monitor compliance with plans.

  • Coordinate development of BIM model for production of shop drawings.

  • Execute code analysis and coordinate submittal review and Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction.

Tools & Software:
Duties involve extensive utilization of CAD drafting, 3D modelling in Rhinoceros 3D, Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit Architecture, Enscape and V-Ray, as well as 2D visualization platforms including Bluebeam Revu, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Requirements:

• Position requires two years of experience in the duties of the position offered or two years of experience as an architectural designer creating architectural design plans and renderings for high-end residences, retail stores and hospitality projects including high-end hotels and restaurants utilizing the CAD drafting, 3D modeling and BIM software tools and 2D visualization platforms listed above.

• A design portfolio demonstrating the ability to create architectural designs suitable for the company’s high-end architecture projects is also required.

Compensation:
$120,000 per annum.
